November: Employee of the Month

Department: Kitchen

Liv Swan, a member of our kitchen staff, has been selected as November’s Employee of the Month! Liv consistently goes above and beyond for our residents and demonstrates strong leadership in the kitchen.

She expresses that working at SpringBrook is a significant part of her life because of the wonderful people she has met here. Liv enjoys collaborating with her coworkers and other staff members, making the work environment enjoyable.

Liv loves experimenting with new recipes and is dedicated to ensuring the residents’ happiness. She cooks with a lot of love, which contributes to her success in the kitchen.

Liv enjoys the residents and has many fond moments with them. A few are when a resident tries to guess who she is, and he gets her, and another staff mixed up. One resident jokes with her, laughing about her team always losing.  They always manage to put a smile on her face.

October: Employee of the Month

Department: Housekeeping

Christi is a member of our Housekeeping staff, she has been chosen as October’s Employee of the Month! Christi has been cleaning the entire building alone for a few months and is now working on training another housekeeper, all while keeping a positive attitude.

Christi’s favorite part of her job is the residents and interacting with them, she says that SpringBrook is a nice place to work. Wanting to do a good job while cleaning has helped Christi be successful.

A fun moment Christi had with a resident was while talking about Christi’s age, and the resident began laughing at how much older she was than Christi. The residents make Christi feel special in return as she tells them how special they are. Thank you, Christi, for all your hard work for SpringBrook and its residents! You are truly appreciated.

September: Employee of the Month

Department: Healthcare

Erik, a member of our Healthcare staff, has been selected as September’s Employee of the Month! Erik picks up extra shifts, is always happy, and is well-liked by residents.

Erik’s favorite part of his job is being able to have a positive impact on residents’ lives, he says they all have great personalities and stories. A fond memory Erik has with a resident is when they turned on 50’s music and he sang and danced like Elvis, and this resident lit up with laughter and joy.

Erik says having a good support group at work, good training, and Managers who are willing to assist, help him be successful at his job. His co-workers and the residents make him love his job and coming to work.

August: Employee of the Month

Department: Healthcare

Alyssa, a member of our Healthcare Staff, has been nominated as August’s Employee of the Month! Alyssa picks up shifts and always has a happy smile on her face.

Alyssa says the friendly residents and heart-warming, supportive co-workers are her favorite part of her job. She would like future SpringBrook co-workers to know the hours are good, there are opportunities to get extra shifts, and everyone is always willing to help each other. Having reliable management, on-call managers, and lead staff also helps Alyssa be successful at her job.

A memorable moment Alyssa had with a resident was when she was helping put foot pedals on a wheelchair, and she put them on backward, she and this resident laughed for a long time! Alyssa loves to have good conversations with the residents as well. Thank you Alyssa for all your hard work, and the care you provide to SpringBrook residents!
