SpringBrook’s mission is to provide our tenants and residents with quality care and a comfortable home in a community that is friendly, safe, clean, healthy, and fun.
Our SpringBrook Community
We are committed to providing all the comforts of home in a caring community setting. SpringBrook residents start with the essentials of home: privacy, freedom, and comfort. While you reside in one of our private apartments you may come and go as you choose. Services are available that allow you to maintain independence in a safe and dignified manner. When you become part of our community, you will experience a warm, compassionate and intimate atmosphere where care, freedom and peace of mind go hand in hand.
Our Philosophy
SpringBrook Community Assisted Living understands that making the transition to Assisted Living may be one of the biggest decisions you’ll make in your life. SpringBrook recognizes that each individual has a unique story and we want the future chapters to be filled with a sense of independence, choice, dignity, and quality of life.
Residents are encouraged to bring their own belongings and style to their apartments in order to create a familiar and comfortable home. Our staff respects your privacy while discreetly providing the services you need. We strive to foster an active environment by offering as many choices and opportunities as possible. Our staff is trained to insure the highest level of compassion and professionalism when offering care and companionship in a safe environment.
The primary objective of SpringBrook Community Assisted Living is to provide services to our residents while respecting their individuality, choice, and preference. Our ultimate vision is to offer a community in which our residents, and those who serve them, enjoy living, working and thriving.
Our History
A local group of investors started construction on the original SpringBrook building in 2006 which included 64 individual assisted living apartments, lounge, dining room, fitness center, activities room, theater/chapel, therapy pool and salon. We welcomed our first residents to their new home in July 2007. Due to the increased need for higher levels of care including advanced age and memory care, in 2012 one section of the original building was modified to address and accommodate the changing needs of our resident population. This alternation allowed residents to stay at SpringBrook (their home) instead of moving to a nursing home facility. In July 2015, SpringBrook completed and opened a 36,100 square foot building addition. The addition includes a combination of studio, one and two bedroom apartments bringing to total number of individual apartments to 100. Additional common space was also added including two dining spaces, an additional salon/spa, a second elevator, family room, education center and office space. Today SpringBrook Community is still owned by local individuals who are committed to serving those in the Onalaska, La Crosse and surrounding communities. SpringBrook has opened its doors to serve the community in additional ways including welcoming the Warm Water Therapy club, Onalaska Park & Rec Yoga program, Onalaska & Holmen Special Needs Swim classes just to name a few. It is our mission to provide our SpringBrook family opportunities to enjoy life to the fullest.
