Cori is part of our Life Enrichment Department.
She has been named January Employee of the Month. Cori is always willing to help, she is enthusiastic about her job, and has been a great asset
to the Activity Department.Cori’s favorite part of her job is when there is live music in the building, and how powerful and meaningful it is to residents. She says being adaptable, as well as the entire team at SpringBrook, helps her be successful. She says coming into work with a positive attitude and the intent to have fun makes a difference.Cori was recently talking with a resident when they realized this resident knew her grandfather, and they had a good time laughing and talking about him. Another resident in the building reminded her of her grandmother, and it made working with her even more special.

December: Employee of the Month
Department: Healthcare Staff
Erika Leis, a member of our Healthcare staff, is December’s Employee of the Month! Erika is dependable, she picks up shifts, and stays late when needed.Erika says spending time with the residents is her favorite part of her job, one in particular lights up with a smile when she goes into her room, bringing her a snack in the morning. Erika says she is very determined and that residents always come first. She also enjoys the people she works with at SpringBrook.There is a resident who reminds Erika a lot of her grandmother. November: Employee of the Month
Department: Reception
Zoe, a member of our Reception Staff, is November’s Employee of the Month! Zoe is always helping other departments, residents, and visitors with a smile on her face. Zoe’s favorite part of her job is being able to talk to all the residents at SpringBrook, checking in with them, and hearing what’s new and going on in their lives. She says everyone should get to know them, because they are such a pleasure to talk with.
Zoe says being open and going out of her way to initiate interactions with staff and residents helps her to be successful. She also enjoys helping where she is needed. Residents who go out of their way to check in on how her day is, or to visit, make Zoe’s day feel special.

Jasynn Hildebrandt
October: Employee of the Month
Department: Dietary
Jasynn, a member of our Dietary Department, is October’s Employee of the Month! Jasynn works hard, is always willing to help, has recently been trained as a cook, and is positive and friendly, having been called a ray of sunshine.
Jasynn’s favorite part of her job is her coworkers, saying they make the days so much fun that she forgets she is at work. Having good attention to detail and being outgoing helps her to be successful. She says employees create strong bonds with residents, and it becomes a joy to see them every day.
On one occasion, she tried to throw a dirty towel in the bin, missing, and she and a resident both started laughing. She also says she feels happier after having small conversations with different residents.
