Marie joined SpringBrook in April of 2025 as our Director of Nursing. Originally from Southern California, her family preferred a quieter lifestyle and moved to Necedah, Wisconsin. Marie became passionate about a career in healthcare after a close family friend fell ill and spent time in the ICU. When he was released, she enjoyed helping her mom, who is also a nurse, with his complex medical needs and knew she had a calling for the medical field. Marie earned a Bachelor’s in Pre-Med at the University of Stevens Point and then received her RN degree at Western Tech in La Crosse. Before SpringBrook, she had worked in a variety of different nursing positions, including Corrections, Home Health, and Hospice. Marie is excited to get to know our staff and residents and help in any way she can. In her free time, she enjoys the beautiful scenery of La Crosse while hiking and paddleboarding with her dog, Zanni. When the weather isn’t so nice, she likes playing one of the many board games in her vast collection. Her favorite is a Western-style card game called “Bang!”.
