March: Employee of the Month
Department: Healthcare
Elizabeth, a member of our Healthcare Staff, has been chosen as SpringBrook’s March Employee of the Month! Elizabeth works a lot of mandated shifts; she always has an upbeat attitude and is great with SpringBrook residents. Elizabeth’s favorite part of her job is helping others, and she says her co-workers and management team are helpful in return.
Having a big compassionate heart, a person-centered mentality, and always wanting to give the best quality of care all help Elizabeth be successful at her job. She would like all future co-workers to know how great the work atmosphere is, and that your co-workers and management team are great to work with.
Elizabeth loves hearing all of SpringBrook’s residents’ stories while visiting with them and getting to know them on a deeper level has been such a special experience for her.

Austin Beaston
February: Employee of the Month
Department: Dietary
Austin, a member of the Dietary Department, has been chosen as February’s Employee of the Month! Austin has exceptional attendance, he is a team player, and residents often compliment his work! Austin says having previous cooking experience, good communication, time management, and organization skills help him be successful at his job. Austin’s favorite part of his job is his co-workers and learning what the residents like. He would like future co-workers to know what a welcoming environment SpringBrook is and how helpful and happy everyone is.
A few fond memories Austin has are of residents asking for extra desserts and being told they like how he makes certain foods the best. A few residents always make Austin feel very appreciated for all the small things he does for them to brighten their days. Thank you, Austin, for all your hard work, it is appreciated by residents and staff alike!
Patti Gasper
January: Employee of the Month
Department: Life Enrichment
Patti, a member of our Life Enrichment staff has been nominated as January’s Employee of the Month! Patti is always smiling and making all of SpringBrook’s residents laugh and smile with her. She also volunteered to help cover weekend events during the holiday season.
Patti’s favorite part of her job is the residents, and hearing their stories and history, and says that being a happy person helps her succeed at her job. She would like future employees to know this is a very rewarding work environment that makes you appreciate the older generation.
A few fond memories with a resident include reading the Daily Chronicles and having residents tell her they remember when that event happened. There was also a time when Patti was leading aerobics and a resident told her he couldn’t do two things at once, so he couldn’t do aerobics and count his reps at the same time. Patti enjoys being around the residents, especially when they talk about their past, and make her feel appreciated for her work. Thank you Patti for enriching the lives of SpringBrook’s residents!
Jo Olson
December: Employee of the Month
Department: Healthcare
Jo is SpringBrook’s December employee of the month! She picks up open shifts, works great with residents, is a team player, and goes above and beyond her job duties. Jo’s favorite part of her job is helping the residents, getting to know them, and hearing stories about their lives. Jo says being flexible and having a positive attitude helps her be successful at her job. She would like future employees to know that SpringBrook is a great work environment, and the residents are fun to be around.
A fun memory Jo has is while working in the dining room, a resident asked for some ketchup and she didn’t realize the glass bottle top was loose, and she shook the bottle. The top went flying, and ketchup sprayed all over her, and the resident couldn’t stop laughing! Jo says the residents make caring for them easy, especially when they are always welcoming and have a smile to share when they see her. Thank you Jo for all the care you provide to SpringBrook residents! You are truly appreciated!
