Laurie has over 30 years of experience in food service. Starting at her parents’ diner, Laurie learned the food service business at 14. She was part of the opening team at the Radisson La Crosse, where she honed her skills from cold-food chef to saucier. Moving out of the area for about 12 years, Laurie continued working as a chef and general manager of two full-service restaurants. Laurie returned to the area to manage her chef business. While doing this, serving the elderly became a passion of hers. She lives in La Crosse and enjoys gardening and cooking for friends and family. Laurie has one daughter, Rachel, who is a Social Worker and lives in Minneapolis, MN. She is excited to help provide healthy, well-rounded meals to the SpringBrook residents. Laurie is a certified Food Service Manager through the State of Wisconsin and is also a certified Safe Food Manager.
